Enclosed is a copy of my latest revision to the “nextmail” script, a cool command-line utility that will allow you to send NeXT Mail from any relatively standard UNIX system. For example, if you regularly login to a remote system (such as NetCom or FTP sites), you can put this script in your path and send yourself file attachments. No more dealing with encoding and decoding.\
\
The script is easy to use. Put it in /usr/local/bin or anywhere else in your path. Once installed in your path, you can do things like this:\
\
nextmail "Set of pictures" zac, tammy, norman *.tiff /LocalLibrary/Pictures\
\
Everything arrives as a NeXT Mail attachment with the filename next to it. Here's the script:\
Improvements since the last time I sent this out: You can now put spaces in the subject line, and specify multiple recipients with either spaces or commas. When uses spaces within a subject or recipient list, quotes must be used around them. Also, multiple attachments are now supported.\
\
Now for a brief message from our sponsor: This script is derived from logic in the DSNeXTMailer class, an object in Dolphin Kit. For more information on the Kit, send a note to <info@dolphin.com>.\
